Celtic receive keeper boost

Celtic, 14:35, December 2, 2009 ,

Celtic have been boosted by the news that goalkeeper Artur Boruc could start in the Europa League tie with Hapoel Tel Aviv.

The Hoops are yet to win in Europe this season and sit bottom of Group C with two points knowing that a win might not be enough to keep their qualification hopes alive if Hamburg avoid defeat against Rapid Vienna.
They face a Hapoel side who have already beaten them in Israel and who will qualify for the next round of the competition if results go their way on Wednesday night.
However, Tony Mowbray has been boosted by the return of Boruc who has been absent for a month with a knee injury, but will be without the ineligible Zheng Zie for the game at Parkhead.
Paddy McCourt could return to the side have missed Saturday's win over St Mirren, but Scott Brown and Shaun Maloney are both unavailable again through injury.
