Celts warned over transfer target

Celtic, 14:59, December 7, 2009 ,

Nancy have called on Celtic to make a decision on whether they want to sign Landry N'Guemo on a permanent basis.

The Cameroon international is currently on loan at Celtic Park, with the two clubs already agreeing a fee of around £1.5million if Celtic want to complete a move for the player.
Now Nancy have told boss Tony Mowbray that they want a decision on the player before the end of April or face the prospect of losing N'Guemo - who is closing in on a return from injury.
Nancy sporting director Nicolas Holveck said: "When Landry moved to Celtic on loan, we struck an agreement between the clubs over the fee for a permanent transfer.
"That option is in place until April 30. After that, he becomes our property and we can decide which club he plays for next season."
