Competition will aid Celts - Rasmussen
Celtic, 12:36, February 8, 2010 ,
Morten Rasmussen believes Celtic will benefit from a number of striking options and feels competition for places is healthy.
The Danish international scored twice during a 4-2 Scottish Cup fifth-round win over Dunfermline and was one of four strikers on the pitch at the end of the game.
With the likes of Rasmussen, Marc-Antoine Fortune, Georgios Samaras, Diomansy Kamara and Robbie Keane all battling for a first-team places, the former Brondby man feels it can work in Celtic's favour.
The forward said: "Celtic are a big club, there should be a lot of good players and that is not a problem for me.
"It is not like you can put 11 strikers on the pitch and score 11 goals, but we just have to fight in training to get a place in the team."
