Gravesen makes Bhoys exit
Celtic, 14:13, August 18, 2008 ,
Celtic midfielder Thomas Gravesen has left the club which will free up some cash for Gordon Strachan to add to his squad.
Gravesen failed to make an impact at Parkhead after arriving from Real Madrid in 2006, with Strachan admitting he could not find a system to accommodate the battling Dane.
A Bhoys statement read: "Celtic, Thomas Gravesen and Thomas's representatives have agreed that he will part company with the club.
"Thomas wishes Celtic every success and, likewise, the club wishes Thomas all the very best for the future."
Gravesen, 32, spent last season on loan at Everton but failed to earn a permanent deal at the club he left for Real in 2005.
