Scottish champions Celtic have received an offer for left-back Emilio Izaguirre from English Premier League club Norwich City.
It is understood that the Canaries have made a player-plus-cash offer for the Honduran International worth in the region of £5 million. New boss Chris Hughton is looking to strengthen his side in the build up to the new campaign and the 26-year-old has emerged as a top target. Former Everton striker James Vaughan has struggled to settle at Carrow Road and could be travelling in the opposite direction as part of the deal. Izaguirre started his career playing with Honduran club Motagua and moved to the Hoops in 2010. However, a broken ankle restricted him to only fourteen games last season. Manchester United are one of the clubs reported to have taken an interest in the left-back previously.
