Thomas Rogne has hit out at Celtic after the club offered him a 'much worse' deal which does not reflect 'my value' as a player.
The Norway international is desperate to prolong his career at Parkhead having been snapped up by former boss Tony Mowbray from Stabaek in January 2010. However, following recent contract negotiations, Rogne is far from happy with what has been put on the table for him to consider. As a result he might have to think about leaving for pastures new when his current deal expires next summer. "It's frustrating as I enjoy Celtic and want to stay," he is quoted as saying in the Daily Record. "This is about the economy. I have played when I have been healthy and feel I should be paid like the other players in that category but the deal has been much worse. "The salary must reflect my value."
