Celtic have reportedly joined the growing number of clubs interested in signing West Brom striker Simon Cox.
The SPL champions are on the lookout for further options in attack ahead of the new campaign and Republic of Ireland international, Cox, could be the man boss Neil Lennon turns to. The 25-year-old, who went to Euro 2012 with the Irish, has been linked with a move out of the Hawthorns having struggled to nail down a regular first-team place over the past season. And, while Steve Clarke has replaced Roy Hodgson in the Hawthorns hotseat this summer, it is being suggested his chances will not improve next term. Therefore Championship side Blackburn and Middlesbrough have been linked with a possible swoop, but Lennon would not doubt feel the lure of Champions League qualification games and a realistic chance of securing silverware would persuade Cox to move north of the border.
