Callum McGregor is looking to force his way into the Celtic side on a regular basis after making his debut against Real Madrid.

The Hoops starlet travelled with the first-team squad to Philadelphia for last Saturday's friendly against the Spanish champions and was thrust into the action when Daryl Murphy picked up a knock and was unable to continue.
And, after rubbing shoulders with the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Kaka, Xabi Alonso and Sergio Ramos, McGregor was overjoyed with his first taste of action in the senior team. And the Celtic Youth Academy graduate is now aiming to stay in boss Neil Lennon's plans throughout the course of this SPL season.
He told Celtic View: "Just getting the shout to get on the pitch was just amazing.
"You have come through the system from nine years old and have just worked so hard, so it was brilliant to get a reward like that and get to play against the likes of Ronaldo. It couldn't have happened against a better team.
"You think of all the sacrifices you have made as a young player and it's brilliant when you see the likes of Marcus Fraser as well, who has done the exactly the same as me and came through the system, getting on too."
McGregor added: "When I get back at Lennoxtown, I will just get my head down again and keep working hard. If I do that hopefully I might get a couple more appearances this season."
