Jordan Rhodes has played down talk of a move to Scottish champions Celtic as he prepares for the upcoming internationals.

The 22-year-old has been the target of a number of clubs during the transfer window and is trying to focus on his football. Rhodes scored 48 goals in all competitions to help Huddersfield win promotion to the Championship last season via the play-offs. Blackburn Rovers have also been linked with the player but a move to his boyhood club would seem more appealing to the striker, who is preparing for his first International start for Scotland against Australia tonight. "I was a Celtic fan growing up and had all the jerseys and went to the matches with my dad," Rhodes told BBC Sport. "It would be something as a kid I dreamt of doing, but they have got a fantastic club and I'm sure they will attract many a good player. Sometimes it might not happen, but as a kid it would have been a dream come true."
