Striker join English club

Celtic, 17:52, August 27, 2010 ,

West Brom have completed the signing of Celtic striker Marc-Antoine Fortune on a two-year deal for an undisclosed fee.

The French Guiana-born forward decided to follow Tony Mowbray to Parkhead last summer having spent the season with the former Hoops boss while he was in charge of the Baggies.
However, Fortune has failed to make an impact for the SPL side and flew straight to the Hawthorns after Celtics' 4-0 defeat to Utrecht in the Europa League to finalise the move.
Fortune could make his debut for West Brom against Liverpool on Sunday, as long as he receives his international clearance in time.
While Celtic allowed Fortune to go they have finally completed the protracted transfer of Emilio Izaguirre, who has signed a four-year contract with the Hoops.
He could go straight into the side for Sunday's game with Motherwell, along with fellow new boy Fraser Forster after the goalkeeper completed his loan move earlier this week.
