Stephen Dobbie has admitted he would be happy to make a move to Celtic this summer if he is not wanted at Swansea City.

The 29-year-old former Rangers youngster was on course to depart the Liberty Stadium this summer after ending the past campaign on loan at Championship side Blackpool. However, Brendan Rodgers' departure from the south Wales outfit has handed Dobbie renewed hope that he could still have a future with the Swans. But if new boss Michael Laudrup does not see him as part of his plans going forward, Dobbie would relish a chance to sign for the SPL champions if reports that Hoops boss Neil Lennon is interested in him prove to be correct. "The first I heard about an interest from Celtic was when I was on holiday," Dobbie said in the Daily Record. "But it was newspaper speculation and I haven't heard anything official. "I'm still a Swansea player and we have a new boss so that's my situation. But who wouldn't be flattered at reports of Celtic being interested in you? "They're a massive club, they have a terrific support and they will also be striving to get into the Champions League next season. "It's something any player would want to look at and I'm no different."
