Celtic coach Alan Thompson hinted youngster Tony Watt will feature in this weekend's Old Firm clash, but he may start on the bench.
Watt made his Celtic debut in the win at Motherwell last time out and hit the headlines with a well taken brace as the Bhoys secured a 3-0 win.
The 18-year-old striker is set to feature again this weekend as Rangers visit Celtic Park, although Thompson believes Watt will have to settle for a place amongst the substitutes.
Midfielder Beram Kayal is in line to return to first-team duty following a lengthy lay-off with an ankle injury, which he picked up during the same fixture in December.
First-team coach Thompson said: "Tony will be a player who will possibly get stripped on Sunday. I don't think he will start the game.
"He did fantastic last week but it is a big game for us, and one we are looking forward to.
"But I'm sure at some stage the lad might play a part, yes.
"Beram Kayal (ankle) is back in the squad. He has trained for a couple of weeks now.
"We are thinking about it (Kayal getting a place on the bench). We had a tough session this morning and we will see how he reacts tomorrow before we decide that.
"James Forrest (ankle) is out and Ki (Sung-yueng) has gone home for a week or two for a break after his hamstring injury last week."
