Schalke boss Huub Stevens says his side can take nothing for granted when they face Montpellier on Wednesday.
The French champions have struggled this season following the departure of star striker Olivier Giroud to Arsenal and currently sit a lowly 13th in Ligue 1. In contrast Schalke have made a flying start to the campaign at both home and abroad but Stevens says his side cannot afford to be complacent ahead of Wednesday's clash. "Montpellier showed last season that a cohesive unit can go a long way," he said. "They surely should not be underestimated: you don't become French champions for nothing. "Whether or not they have stars in their ranks it doesn't really matter - they have some very good players."
