Hull striker Sone Aluko believes his game has gone up a level since his return to English football.

The 23-year-old burst onto the scene as a teenager while at Birmingham, but struggled to live up to his potential and eventually moved to Scotland, where he enjoyed spells with both Aberdeen and Rangers. However, he returned to English football in the summer and believes he has flourished in Steve Bruce's attacking formation. "It's a role I'm happy to play because it gives me the opportunity to create goals and try and score some goals myself," he said. "It's a free role, but with a fair amount of responsibility attached. "I'm quite happy with my contribution so far and I've created a few goals and scored three myself. But we all have to stay on our toes and make sure our performance levels are high."
