Portsmouth boss Michael Appleton says it's now only a matter of time before his side are relegated following their defeat by Millwall.
Pompey had the chance to close the gap between themselves and 21st-placed Bristol City to six points on Tuesday but went down 1-0 to the Lions and now sit nine points adrift of safety with just four games remaining.
Appleton's men looked to be on course for a mid-table finish before being handed a 10-point deduction for going into administration and the former Preston player now admits that it's more than likely his team will be relegated.
"I'm realistic enough to know that we're going to have to win four games and unless we do we're going to be looking at playing in a different division," said Appleton.
