Blackpool set for Dobbie blow
Blackpool could miss out on signing loanee Stephen Dobbie following the appointment of Brendan Rodgers at Liverpool.
Former Swansea boss Rodgers was prepared to offload Dobbie after the forward became surplus to requirements at the Liberty Stadium, with Blackpool preparing a bid for the Scot.
However, the new Swans chief could choose to keep hold of the 29-year-old, who is valued at around £1million.
"Now Rodgers has gone, a new man will want time to look at the whole squad and make his own decisions about who to keep and who to get rid of," said a Swansea source.
"So Blackpool or anyone else interested in Dobbie - like Birmingham - will probably have to change their plans and look elsewhere."
Dobbie has enjoyed two successful loan spells at Bloomfield Road and would favour a move back to the Seasiders.
