Dexter Blackstock believes Nottingham Forest have the ability to pass their way to promotion this season.
New Forest manager Sean O'Driscoll has declared his intention to take a positive, attacking approach and that ethos looks set to pay dividends, with a home win and two creditable draws on the road an encouraging start to the Championship campaign. Blackstock has backed O'Driscoll's way of playing and expects the quality in the squad to shine through under the new boss. "Almost everyone in our squad can pass the ball and pass the ball well. There is nobody who cannot do that," said the 26-year-old marksman. "At a lesser club, you can kick it long and the fans will stay with you. But, at Forest, you have to pass the ball. The fans will stay with you as long as you play the Forest way. You have to do that here, there is no other way."
