Brown eyeing Tigers return

Phil Brown says he would 'jump at the opportunity' to manage former side Hull following the departure of Nick Barmby.
Barmby was recently dismissed from the his post at the KC Stadium after criticising the board's management of the club, arguing that he was unsure whether or not he'd be able to take the Tigers' forward due to the lack of finances available to him. Carlisle boss Greg Abbot and Derby's Billy Davies are amongst the favourites to get the job but Brown, who took Hull to the Premier League in 2008, says he'd love to chance to return as he feels he has unfinished business with the East Yorkshire side. "That's an old project with unfinished business," he said "Of course I'd jump at the opportunity to go back, but there's plenty of good managers out there."
