Hull boss Steve Bruce insists Alex Bruce can handle the pressure of being the manager's son after signing him on a two-year deal.

The 27-year-old became the Tigers' sixth summer signing over the weekend when he completed his move to the KC Stadium on a free transfer.
The former Ipswich and Leeds defender has spent the last three weeks training with Hull and has turned down several offers to team up with his father in East Yorkshire. Bruce senior does not expect his new signing to have any problems fitting in.
"Of course it puts a bit of pressure on him being the manager's son, but he's played in the Championship for a long time and enjoyed a good career at this level," Bruce told the Hull Daily Mail.
"Nepotism is the word that will always crop up, and you have to think about that, but he's at an age where he can handle it. I'm sure it won't be a problem."
