Chris Burke insists Birmingham will only be able to reflect on a successful season should they secure a return to the Premier League.
Little was expected of relegated Birmingham after a summer of upheaval. Chris Hughton's side, however, have exceeded expectations during a busy campaign - and the game at home to Reading tomorrow will be their 61st of the season. The Blues will play at least two more times before the season is out and Burke has called on the side to turn a satisfactory season into a successful one. "People will say it has been a good season and yes, it has, but it could be a better season - if we go up," the winger said. "One of the four teams is going to go up and we're in there. I think we have got as good a chance as anybody." The clash with champions Reading will decide whether Birmingham finish fourth, fifth or sixth.
