Justin Hoyte has committed his future to Middlesbrough after penning a new two-year deal at the Riverside.
The former Arsenal man saw his previous contract expire with Boro at the end of last season, a campaign in which he made 35 appearances for Tony Mowbray's men.
Hoyte though has always been keen to remain on Teesside and having been born and brought up in London, says he feels like Middlesbrough is now his "second home".
The 27-year-old joined Boro for £3million in 2008, making over one hundred first-team appearances for the Championship outfit, and feels they can mount a "strong challenge" for promotion this term.
