Stuart Parnaby is determined to make up for lost time when he pulls on the Middlesbrough shirt again next season.
The 29-year-old right-back put pen to paper on a two-year deal with a further one-year option yesterday following a frustrating year without a club. Parnaby began his career with Boro in 2000, making his full Premiership debut against Leeds at the Riverside in October 2002. The full-back moved to Birmingham in 2007 and spent four years in the Midlands before departing last summer. He trained with a number of clubs last season but failed to earn a deal. "It's great to be back. I couldn't be happier really," said Parnaby. "Being out of the game has made me realise how lucky I am to be involved. I have had a mental kick up the backside - I've never been more positive and ready to go that extra mile for Middlesbrough."
