Leicester look set to be without defender Sean St Ledger for the start of the new season, due to a knee injury.
The 27-year-old has only just returned to the Foxes camp after his involvement at Euro 2012 with the Republic of Ireland, playing in all three of their group games. St Ledger was playing in his first pre-season friendly of the summer, when the Foxes faced Burton Albion on Wednesday night, with the former Preston man handed a start in the centre of defence by Nigel Pearson. The defender was forced off after just eight minutes at the Pirelli Stadium with a medial ligament strain, leaving the ground on crutches, and is now expected to be sidelined for between six to eight weeks.
