Striker Marko Futacs believes Portsmouth can bounce back after the club was relegated to the third tier for the first time since 1983.
Michael Appleton's side fought hard to avoid the drop after a 10-point deduction had plunged them deep into the mire. However, a 2-1 defeat at home to Derby on Saturday broke their resolve and consigned them to League One. Despite continuing financial problems, Futacs expects a club the size of Pompey to rebuild and bounce back. "I think there is hope still. This is a very big club. We want to see the club move on and everything to be positive," said the Hungarian. "The fans are really, really important for the club. I just hope that everything is sorted around the club. We have to think about next year."
