Simon Gillett is confident Nottingham Forest team-mate Billy Sharp will soon rediscover his goalscoring touch.

Sharp, who scored 40 goals in 82 appearances for Doncaster Rovers, has yet to find the net since joining Forest on loan from Southampton at the end of August. Midfielder Gillett played alongside Sharp at the Keepmoat Stadium and he knows how dangerous the striker can be when he is firing. "That is Billy. He is always sniffing around for a goal and it will not be long before he hits the back of the net," said Gillett. "We are all willing him to get a goal and I am sure many will follow when he does. He is somebody that is not affected by it. He is a very bubbly character." Sharp will be out to break his duck when Championship leaders Cardiff City travel to the City Ground on Saturday.
