Golbourne backs Reds to come good

Barnsley left-back Scott Golbourne is determined to prove last month's 5-0 drubbing of Birmingham was no fluke.

The Reds travel to promoted Charlton this afternoon aiming to bounce back from successive defeats and end a run of three games without a win since their highly impressive showing at St Andrew's.
Golbourne, who has started every league game this term, believes it is a matter of time before Barnsley begin to hit their straps on a consistent basis.
"We don't want the Birmingham game to be a fluke - and I don't think it was. That win had been coming for a while because we were playing so well," said the former Exeter full-back.
"We're defending very well at the moment, but scoring goals is imperative. That's the secret to this league."
