Hill challenges returning Dagnall
Barnsley boss Keith Hill has challenged returning striker Chris Dagnall to prove his worth during pre-season.
The 26-year-old only joined the South Yorkshire club from Scunthorpe in January but was loaned to Bradford after a disappointing start to his career at Oakwell. He scored once in seven appearances for the League Two outfit. His Barnsley manager is now looking forward to seeing the rejuvenated striker when he returns this summer. "Chris has been given his summer fitness programme so when we all return for pre-season training that will provide me with a massive indication of where he is at," said Hill. "We've had a conversation and Chris knows where we want him to be, so I guess it's up to him now to show me again what he's got to offer."
