Holly rallies Blackpool following defeat
Blackpool manager Ian Holloway has issued a rallying cry to his team after they were beaten in the play-off final by West Ham.
The Seasiders could not return to the Premier League at the first time of asking as they fell to a 2-1 defeat at Wembley, failing to redo their miracle from two years ago when they beat Cardiff against the odds.
But now Holloway, whose side more than matched victors West Ham during the 90 minutes and wasted several key opportunities, is calling for his side to regroup and try for promotion again next season.
He said: "We've got to get on and bounce ourselves straight back, it's about building now.
"We've got to get over playing in the Championship again because we were all hoping we would be in the top flight.
"I thought my lot gave a great account of themselves, we created more than enough chances to win the game.
"We've got to get on and bounce straight back."
