Burnley manager Eddie Howe says he is on the lookout for a new striker following the departure of Jay Rodriguez.

The highly-rated England Under-21 international joined Southampton on Sunday in a deal believed to be worth around £6million meaning the Clarets boss will certainly have money to spend in the summer. Despite Rodriguez's exit, Howe can still call upon the services of Charlie Austin, Martin Paterson and Danny Ings and, although he insists he has confidence in all his attackers, the young boss admits he still thinks he can add 'something different' to his squad. "We believe your team's only as good as your strikers; we're aware that it's such an important are of the team and we will be looking to bring one in," Howe said. "With the three main first team strikers I think we are very strong, but we are looking at adding to those three and maybe adding something different."
