Lambert ready for battle royal
Championship top scorer Rickie Lambert is wary of title rivals Reading ahead of tomorrow's top-of-the-table clash at St Mary's.
The game is being billed as a title decider - with Southampton leading the Royals only on goal difference. The two sides are six points ahead of third-placed West Ham with four games to go and look destined for the Premier League.
While Southampton have led from the front all season, Reading have come through the pack with an incredible 13 wins in their last 15 games.
Lambert admitted Reading have been "on fire" and expects a fiercely competitive game.
"I think our form over the last two months has been sensational and the fact that they have caught us up just goes to show how good they've been," said the 30-goal striker.
"We've got to be wary of them - we know that they're going to push us."
