Malone aims dig at Groves

Full-back Scott Malone has aimed a parting shot at former Bournemouth boss Paul Groves after completing his move to Millwall.

Malone arrived at the Den in a deal which saw Josh McQuoid return to Dean Court and Bournemouth receive an undisclosed fee. The former Wolves trainee was disappointed with his treatment towards the end of his spell at the Cherries but was happy with the way things turned out. "There must have been a reason why I didn't play in the last two games of the season," Malone told the Daily Echo. "I was clearly not in his plans but have had the last laugh as I am moving up a league."
