Middlesbrough boss Tony Mowbray has hailed goalkeeper Jason Steele's "magnificent" form this season.
The stopper has been Boro's standout player this term and proved his class with a man-of-the-match display at Watford last weekend. The England under-21 star has often come in for criticism from the Teesiders' faithful but Mowbray believes he's been fantastic since establishing himself in the side. "Jason's form has been magnificent all season. In my time here I've heard the murmurings but you've got to give young goalkeepers opportunities to play," Mowbray said. "I think he's doing exceptionally well. He's a big, big talent and his personality's great for the job and he's going to be very important for us."
