In-form Leicester striker David Nugent says the international break has given the Foxes an opportunity to recharge their batteries.

City headed into the two-week break second in the Championship, just behind leaders Cardiff on 21 points. Nugent has been key to their rise up the table. The former Preston and Portsmouth frontman has scored five goals in Leicester's five-match winning run. The 27-year-old wants City to freshen up and come out firing when they face Birmingham at St Andrew's on October 20. "I don't want the international break to come, but it is a good chance for the lads to recharge the batteries as well," said Nugent. "It has been tough, three games in a week is a big ask. We are strong enough and fit enough, but it has taken its toll on a few lads today. The break gives us a chance to recover."
