Owls sign Mattock

Sheffield Wednesday have completed the signing of defender Joe Mattock after his release from West Bromwich Albion.

The 22-year-old has joined the newly promoted Championship side on a three-year deal as manager Dave Jones looks to build a squad that can challenge at the top of the table.
Mattock came through the ranks at Leicester City, making his senior debut for the Foxes in April 2007, before joining West Brom in 2009 for £1m.
He struggled to make an impact at the Hawthorns though, and was sent out on-loan to the likes of Portsmouth and Wednesday's city rivals Sheffield United, before spending last season on-loan at Brighton.
Mattock has represented England at Under-17, Under-19 and Under-21 levels.
