Portsmouth player Greg Halford says he and his team-mates are all unsure about where their footballing future lies.
Pompey were relegated to League One this season and continue to suffer from financial problems, despite reported interest in the South Coast club from former owner Balram Chainrai.
Manager Michael Appleton is now handed the tough task of moving players on as he looks to build a squad for the 2012-13 season but Halford says he is not sure what the summer transfer window holds for the Portsmouth players.
He told The News: "It's tough at the minute and a new situation to all of us.
"Our agents are involved and the club has appointed an agent to get everyone's name out to other clubs.
"There's so many things which could happen and we are all looking into it. There's so many permutations."
Halford does however look set to leave Fratton Park with Nottingham Forest, Birmingham and Leeds being linked with a move for the midfielder.
