Charlton striker Leon Clarke has moved to Scunthorpe on a three-month loan deal, the club has confirmed.
Clarke will join the Iron when the loan window opens and is eligible for Alan Knill's squad to face Sheffield United.
The 27-year-old moved to The Valley earlier this year from Swindon after a well-publicised falling out with manager Paolo Di Canio.
He has managed just seven appearances for the Addicks, all but six coming off the bench, and last played for the club in a pre-season friendly against Tonbridge Angels on August 7.
