Parky on double move talk

Charlton Athletic, 16:01, November 19, 2009

Charlton have denied they are interested in Luton's Keith Keane, but hope to extend David Mooney's time at The Valley.

Reports in the press have claimed that Addicks boss Phil Parkinson is keeping tabs on Keane but those rumours seem to be a bit wide of the mark and no move is in the pipeline.

"We've had Luton watched several times this season, but not specifically to watch Keith Keane," Parkinson said.

However, Parkinson has confirmed the club are looking to extend Reading striker Mooney's loan spell beyond December 1.

"Of course there is an opportunity and it is something we are going to address next week," the gaffer added. "Ideally you always want to add to the squad and I'm no different from any other manager."
