Chelsea moved a step closer to landing Brazilian star Oscar after Internacional confirmed a deal has been agreed.
Oscar has already undergone a medical at Stamford Bridge but the whole move hinged on Chelsea agreeing a fee with the Brazilian side, and that now appears to have been sorted. Internacional president Giovanni Luigi says a verbal agreement has been sorted between the two clubs and now everything just needs to be put in writing before the move can bee completed. A fee in the region of £25million is thought to have been agreed and Oscar is on the verge of becoming Chelsea's latest big money arrival. "There is a verbal agreement between the two parties. But we have to put that on paper and the lawyer of both clubs have to discuss the matter," Luigi told Radio Guiaba. There had been interest from Tottenham but Chelsea have always been favourites to do a deal and boss Roberto Di Matteo is now close to landing his man.
