Blues line up £35m bid
Chelsea are ready to end their striker search by swooping for Napoli's Edinson Cavani in a deal worth £35million.
The Blues are also closing in on Internacional playmaker Oscar and Roman Abramvich will have to pay in the region of £60million to complete the double swoop. A fee of £25million has been agreed for Oscar with the deal set to go through this week but Napoli have yet to accept an offer from Chelsea and it remains to be seen if £35million will be enough. The Italians were demanding £50million earlier in the summer but reports now claim they will lower their valuation to a more realistic figure of £35million. Cavani has bagged 66 goals in his two seasons at Napoli and Blues boss Roberto Di Matteo sees him as the perfect replacement for the departed Didier Drogba.
