Chelsea pair John Terry and Ashley Cole are facing the prospect of missing out on England's Euro 2012 opener against France.

Both players were absent from the Three Lions open training session at their base at Hutnik in Poland, although Cole was able to some jogging. Terry is thought to still suffering with a hamstring injury that he picked up in the friendly win against Belgium. Cole, meanwhile, is reported to have been suffering with a stomach bug, while there is also talk that the left back is suffering with an ankle problem that has hampered his ability to train at full tilt after matches. Both players would be a big miss for England manager Roy Hodgson if they were unable to prove their fitness for the game against Euro 2000 Champions France, especially Cole who has looked immaculate for Chelsea this season.
