Blues receive double injury boost
Chelsea, 09:43, November 20, 2009 ,
England stars John Terry and Ashley Cole are both in line to start as Chelsea bid to extend their unbeaten home run against Wolves.
Terry was forced to miss England's friendly defeat to Brazil last weekend after injuring his calf in the build-up to the game but returned to training earlier this week and will lead out the side at Stamford Bridge.
It was initially feared Cole could be facing a lengthy spell on the sidelines after he was diagnosed with a stress fracture of his tibia after the victory against Manchester United a fortnight ago, but the injury has responded well to treatment and he is in line for a speedy return.
Key midfielder Frank Lampard is definitely out with a torn thigh muscle while there are also major doubts surrounding the fitness of leading scorer Didier Drogba and midfielder Michael Ballack as the Blues seek to extend their unbeaten home run to 28 matches.
Drogba is struggling with a chest injury while Ballack has a knee problem. Full-back Jose Bosingwa has been ruled out until the New Year after knee surgery.
