Blues starlet in Dutch departure

Chelsea have sent young winger Gael Kakuta on a season-long loan to Dutch side Vitesse Arnhem.

The 21-year-old has been unable to establish himself at Stamford Bridge despite high expectations when he arrived as a teenager from Lens in 2007. Kakuta, whose Chelsea deal runs until 2015, has subsequently been farmed out on loan to Fulham and Bolton before returning to France with Dijon during the latter part of last season.
