Boss considers keeper swap
Chelsea, 17:27, December 19, 2010 , | 7 Comments
Chelsea are being linked with a swoop for CSKA Moscow keeper Igor Akinfeev as Zenit St. Petersburg eye up a move for Petr Cech.
Akinfeev is widely regarded as one of Europe's best goalkeeper and is not short of admirers with the likes of Manchester United, Arsenal and Juventus all known to have shown an interest in signing him.
The 24-year-old first came to prominence after being handed his debut for the Russian national team at the age of just 18 and has since gone on to cement his place as his country's number one.
Cech's own ability cannot be underestimated though, and while his form on occasions this season has fallen below his usual high standards, Blues boss Carlo Ancelotti would be reluctant to sell him.
The Czech Republic international has played a major role in Chelsea's success in recent years, and you can count the number of errors he has made in over 200 appearances for the club on one hand.
Here are some betting tips from Betfair's tipsters:

I am really scared that Petr is going to go. I love him so much, it would break my heart to see him go!
But I think he would go back to Rennes or go home to the Czech Republic!
Please don't leave Petr!Especially to Russia!
