Chelsea defender Gary Cahill believes his side's bore draw at Arsenal was ideal preparation for Tuesday's clash with Barcelona.
The Blues will take a 1-0 lead into their Champions League semi-final second leg at the Nou Camp, but Cahill and his team-mates are bracing themselves for a night of defending against the Catalan giants.
However, Roberto Di Matteo's men demonstrated their ability to stay tight at the back for 90 minutes against the Gunners and Cahill is convinced they can do it again in midweek.
Cahill and central defensive partner John Terry kept Robin van Persie quiet for much of the game and the former Bolton stopper is now ready to tough it out with the likes of Lionel Messi in Spain.
The defender said: "It was great practice, coming up against the likes of Robin van Persie, who's in form this season and is one of the best forwards in the world at the minute.
"It doesn't get any harder, does it, this week, facing the likes of Messi and then Van Persie and then back to Messi and the boys?
"So to keep two clean sheets in the two games we've just played is pleasing for us as a whole team."
