Cech calls for festive victories

Petr Cech has called on Chelsea to prove they have what it takes to win the title by picking up three wins over the festive period.
The Blues travel to Everton on Monday before a Boxing Day game at home against West Brom is followed up with a London derby at Fulham on December 28.
And Cech hopes Chelsea can prosper from playing games in quick succession and once again prove their title credentials over the Christmas period.
"We have to at least keep our position in the table over this period, if not improve it, because what happens over Christmas will have a big impact in what happens in the New Year," he said.
"We need to win the games, even though it's three matches in such a short period."
He added in The Sun: "I think we prefer that many games coming so quickly. You don't really have time to think about the matches when they come at you so swiftly, just go out and play one after the other.
"Over the years when we won the title it was our strongest period, when we had to reel off games that were coming like this, so we have to look to do it again."
