Chelsea boss happy with lead
Chelsea, 13:54, February 4, 2010 ,
Carlo Ancelotti believes the two point lead his side have over Manchester United is good enough, despite dropping points at Hull.
The Blues could have gone four points clear of United if they had managed to beat the Tigers and now could find themselves in second going into Sunday's game with Arsenal if Sir Alex Ferguson's side can beat Portsmouth on Saturday.
A victory for Ancelotti's men over the Gunners will seemingly knock them out of the running for the title but it looks as though they won't be shaking United off anytime soon.
Ancelotti says he feels Tuesday's 1-1 draw with Hull was a fair result and believes the advantage they hold over United will stand them in good stead for the future.
"We wanted to win but it was the right result," said Ancelotti.
"Both teams played well, it was a very strong game.
"I think it was a good result. We have two points more than Manchester United, which is good for us.
"It is a long race against Manchester United, we have to keep control of the situation."
