Chelsea fail with Moses bid
Chelsea have failed with a bid to land Victor Moses after their opening offer fell well short of Wigan's valuation.
The European Champions have been showing a keen interest in the Latics star and they have now taken it to the next level by making an offer for the player. How much Blues owner Roman Abramovich put on the table remains to be seen, but whatever it was Wigan have rejected it as they hold out for a fee in the region of £10million. That will not be the end of the matter though and Chelsea are set to continue negotiations with Wigan in the hope that a fee can eventually be agreed. Moses himself would jump at the chance of a move to Stamford Bridge and as long as a fee can be agreed, the youngster will complete a move back to London.
