Chelsea are believed to have won the race for highly-coveted Lille winger Eden Hazard and are expected to wrap up a £32million deal.
The Belgian international is one of the most sought after players in Europe after his performances for French outfit Lille over the last few years. Premier League sides Manchester City and Manchester United, Spanish duo Real Madrid and Barcelona and a number of other top clubs from across Europe have all been credited with an interest in the 21-year-old. However, reports in France suggest Hazard is keen on a move to Chelsea following their Champions League success and Hazard revealed on his Twitter account on Monday he had made his decision - although he did not say which club he had decided to join. He tweeted: "Good afternoon guys. I made up my mind. See you later. Thanks." It is thought Hazard has already agreed terms with Chelsea and the Blues hope to complete a deal for the Lille star this week, with reports suggesting the Blues will fork out around £32million to convince the Ligue 1 club to cash in on their prized asset.
