City join Samba race

Manchester City have joined the race for Brazilian World Cup star Ramires and hope to pip Chelsea to his signature.
Reports claim that Chelsea have made a £20million bid for the Benfica midfielder but City are also keen and are willing to match the offer that has gone in for the player.
Chelsea are also ready to offer the player a four-year deal worth £50,000 a week but no doubt City will also match that so the final decision will be made by the 23-year-old.
Ramires, who missed Brazil's quarter-final defeat against Holland at the World Cup and was sorely missed, is now expected to make a decision over which club he wants to sign for in the next few days.
