Defender plans Blues exit

Chelsea are bracing themselves for a transfer request from Serbian international Branislav Ivanovic, who wants a move to Italy.

Ivanovic is a close friend of Inter Milan ace Dejan Stankovic and is being linked with the San Siro after becoming frustrated with his lack of action at Stamford Bridge.

The 24 year-old was a transfer target for Juventus earlier in the season but The Blues refused to sell him. Reports now claim he is ready to take matters into his own hands and could hand in a transfer request in a bid to earn a move to Serie A.

Stankovic would love to see him playing in the same Inter team and Jose Mourinho could be ready to make a move.
